The Groves On a quiet tree-lined grove, this large 4-star guesthouse is a 10 minute walk from central York and offers free parking, rooms with private bathrooms and bar/lounge facilities.The main building dates back to the late 1800s and The Groves still has some charming original features, such as a splendid grand staircase and patterned windows.The bar is open until 11 pm each day. Guests can relax and read the daily newspapers, with a selection of beers and wines available throughout the day.Bedrooms are in either the main building or in 2 separate buildings around the parking lot. Please note that The Groves does not have an elevator.
